When it’s up and fully functional, it will be found at http://everwild.net. If you use that particular url right now, you’ll find yourself here until I add the redirect. Beyond a couple new features, a slightly different layout, and the absence of the older posts, the transition should be seamless. Well, unless I muck something up, which is certainly possible (like forgetting the admin login information for your own dang test site or typing the email address in wrong without ever realizing it)!

Sorry for the confusion. It’s a fine lesson for remembering to document everything clearly. It takes me back to the “Make a better peanut butter and jelly sandwich” exercise Jon had me do when I was learning how to program.

I thought having people register to post comments would help control spam. Mmm, no. I ended up having to install Akismet to control the freak spammer bots that leave trackback links. So far 105 have been captured and deleted. That was in the first two days. *sigh* Well, at least electronic spam doesn’t kill trees!

I’ve moved Everwild from LeHost.net to DreamHost.com. It’s a big step; no more training wheels, but I’m learning fast. I have tons of room now. :P I also have tons of freedom to break things and REALLY muck them up!

If anyone finds a broken email or link, please let me know. I haven’t updated everything yet. I’m trying to cull the unnecessary stuff out so I don’t have a lot of garbage to sift through should I ever decide I need to move again.
