Jon and I went to the Lyric last night to watch Sophie Scholl – Die letzten Tage. Info on the back story this movie is based on: White Rose. As with La Vita è bella, I highly recommend the movie for anyone interested in the depth of humanity. I don’t recommend it to those with little or no tolerance for all things considered “deep” or “heavy”. Although the latter film isn’t based on the lives of actual people, the story is certainly real enough.
