white noise

This picture was taken at the Hampton Carousel in Hampton, Virginia:

I found that all the pictures I took ended up looking washed out. Not only are most of the horses painted in monochrome, but they’re placed on the carousel in like colors. So, dark brown horses are layered with other dark brown horses and lighter horses layered with other lighter horses. Being a not-so-experienced photographer, I didn’t realize the challenge this posed to my pictures until after I got home and started picking at the pics. Either way, the horses are exquisite. My photography skills just can’t do them justice.

Oh well, lesson learned. I’ll just have to go back and try again on a rainy day when I visit Denise again. :)
