Test Driving Fimo
They’ve turned out much better than I anticipated, this being the first time I’ve tried using Fimo for an actual clay project. Susan warned me about how different its properties are compared to Sculpey (III and Premo). Fimo definitely conditions slower and almost to the point where I wasn’t sure if it’d ever stop crumbling. Even so, the end result was a pleasant surprise, and look NO scorched bunnies!
Oooh. If the picture were higher res, I’d put it in my desktop background rotation. :) Bunnies!
Little Bunny Foo Foo…
Whenever I see my name in print, I have to sign up to say hello. Funny, I was recently thinking about getting out the fimo to work on a sculpting a doll. Not a good idea?
I think it’s a great idea! You were spot-on about Fimo being harder to condition than Sculpey, though. But, I also like that Fimo doesn’t get nearly as sticky (at least not the white).
These are adorable! Clare giggled with glee over them.
